Venue Feature: The Glass House

Clean, modern, simple, and classy. Four things I LOVE about the Glass House in Minneapolis, MN. What I appreciate the most about this venue however, is that it's DIFFERENT!! Don't get me wrong. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a barn wedding or golf course reception, but when you're looking for something more unique and modern... this is it my friend.

Conveniently located in Minneapolis, this venue has everything you need. Beautifully designed private room for getting ready, city skyline views, outdoor space, classy bar, large open space for dinner and dancing, massive windows, moody lighting… and cool backdrops!!! The Holden Room is a large area where… well, the options are endless 😊 I saw this space used for dinner and dancing, but I’ve also seen it used as an indoor ceremony space.

In day-to-day life, I’m already someone who is kind of obsessed with lighting. When my husband and I first bought our house, the very first update we made was changing out all the lightbulbs (because I am NOT a fan of hospital room blue light, lol). So when I saw all the different light fixtures in this space… I was immediately impressed. Just by browsing through the images below, you will quickly notice the unique shapes, sizes and designs of these lights. In my opinion, this really sets the tone of this space.

I also want to give a shout out to Bentley at Honey B. weddings, because she was the wedding planner I worked with at Cailyn and Jake’s wedding. She did a stellar job at decorating the tables to match the modern look and feel of the venue and couple. My favorite part of the tablescapes were the black taper candles… because how often do you see that!?

If you’re getting married in Minneapolis and prefer a more of an urban, neutral, and modern aesthetic, then I would highly recommend the Glass House.  Perfect for smaller ceremonies, and couples who like to keep it simple. I might even know of the perfect photographer for you… 😉
